Mazda recently introduced the availability of its new Rear Seat Entertainment System accessory kit. It’s available for 2016-2018 Mazda CX-9 midsize crossover sport utility vehicle. The Rear Seat Entertainment System can be retrofitted to all 2016, 2017 and 2018 Mazda CX-9s. It is a dealer installed accessory. It will also be available in select 2018 Mazda CX-9 as a port-installed item.

Features of the Rear Seat Entertainment Accessory

Some of the features of the Rear Seat Entertainment System are:

• Dual 8-inch LCD monitors (1024 x 600 resolution; 16:9 aspect ratio)
• Single CD/DVD player
• USB 2.0 and SD card inputs
• HDMI ports for wired device connections (Android/iOS smartphones and tablets)
• Two IR-type wireless headphones
• 5mm stereo headphone output
• Two remote controls

Multiple Sources

Mazda also understand that video data can come from many different sources. It can come through USB, SD, CD.DVD or even HDMI. The monitors are able to play different content at the same time or both display the same thing. This new Rear Seat Entertainment System has undergone multiple tests and passed all evaluations in accordance to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. This is a great way to keep your backseat passengers happy and occupied during long trips. Who likes long car rides with unhappy people?
