Back in January, we talked about a Mazda Miata that had a ½ million miles all driven its original owner. Now Mazda has another “million” milestone to announce. As of April 22nd, 2016, production of the Mazda MX-5 Miata reached one million units! This 27-years-in-the-making record all started at the Ujina Plant Number One in April of 1989.

The 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF made its debut at this year’s New York International Auto Show. It was met with rousing excitement. The show car is now set to become the MX-5 RF Launch Edition. This MX-5 will be limited to 1,000 vehicles in the U.S. and destined for Mazda’s most loyal customers.

It was announced that two Mazda vehicles have won two more awards! The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata roadster and the 2016 Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover SUV both earned high honors from the New England Motor Press Association.
