A car is pretty much a necessity these days. Unless you live in a really small community, people need a car for most every activity outside of the home. Vehicles also make life easier. The 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF made its debut at this year’s New York International Auto Show. It was met with rousing excitement. The show car is now set to become the MX-5 RF Launch Edition. This MX-5 will be limited to 1,000 vehicles in the U.S. and destined for Mazda’s most loyal customers.

Back in January, we talked about a Mazda Miata that had a ½ million miles all driven its original owner. Now Mazda has another “million” milestone to announce. As of April 22nd, 2016, production of the Mazda MX-5 Miata reached one million units! This 27-years-in-the-making record all started at the Ujina Plant Number One in April of 1989.
