2018 Mazda Drive for Good

Have you heard of the 2018 Mazda Drive for Good program? It’s one way that Mazda is able to give back to their communities. To date, Mazda has given back over $15,000,000 to charities like the American Heart Association and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In the last four years, Mazda employees have also provided 262,839 hours of volunteer service to their communities. That equates to 30 years of worth community service! New  SKYACTIV™-X

By now, you must have heard about Mazda’s new SKYACTIV™-X engine. It features Spark-Controlled Compression Ignition which is a never-before-seen combustion method. It’s also the second step in Mazda’s development of a gasoline engine with the perfect internal combustion mechanism. No doubt, this has been a long term goal of engineers. In this new engine, spark plug ignition is used to control compression ignition. This results in a greatly improved range of important performance indicators.

1. Crazy Country Christmas

If you’re going down to Dixie for Christmas this year, there’s no better way to enjoy it than with the Crazy Country Christmas at the GTS theatre, with hits like “Redneck Reindeer” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”

2. A Very Fashionable Christmas!

Take the drive to Georgetown’s Kaminsky House Museum, where some of the most acclaimed interior designers in the region will deck the halls with holiday cheer for A Very Fashionable Christmas! The museum will also be hosting Christmas candlelit tours throughout the season.

3. North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade

Bundle up with family and friends at the annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade, complete with marching bands, local community groups, floats, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

When: Saturday, December 2, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

4. Motown Christmas Tribute

Another exciting event at the GTS Theatre is the Motown Christmas Tribute, bringing soulful holiday classics from the ‘60s and ‘70s that will get the whole family bouncing in their seats. With hits from Diana Ross to Stevie Wonder, this lineup is appropriate for all audiences.
