Mazda CX-5: Now in Production

It’s true! Mazda Motor Corporation has recently begun production of the All-New Mazda CX-5 at the Ujina Plant Number 2. It’s located near the company’s global headquarters in Hiroshima, Japan.  The new CX-5 will go on sale in Japan before it’s introduced to other global markets.

Awaiting Arrival

All of us here at Beach Mazda can’t wait for its arrival here in the United States! The CX-5 was originally introduced to the public in later 2011 introduced a new generations of models. This new generation of new models features a full range of SKYACTIV™ Technology and KODO Soul of Motion Design. Total production of the CX-5 reached 1,000,000 units back in April of 2015. That feat made the CX-5 the second fastest Mazda vehicle to reach the million unit milestone, falling just behind the Mazda3. As of October 2016, total production had reached 1.57 million units. The global sales of the Mazda CX-5 have increased every single year since its launch. It’s grown into a core model for Mazda and is responsible for a fourth of Mazda’s annual sales volume.
