Two Mazda Vehicles, Three More Awards!

It was announced that two Mazda vehicles have won two more awards! The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata roadster and the 2016 Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover SUV both earned high honors from the New England Motor Press Association.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata was awarded “Best Affordable Convertible” in the NEMPA Ragtop Awards category. The MX-5 Miata was also given the lifetime achievement award. Considering there’s been a million MX-5 Miatas produced over the last twenty five years, we have to agree that it truly is a lifetime achievement.

The New England Motor Press Association journalists had the following to say about the Mazda MX-5 Miata, “Seeing a 20-year-old Miata with pop-up headlights is sure to make you smile. Mazda had a winner with the Miata right from Day 1 and has kept the celebration going.”

The 2016 CX-3 was also honored with “Best-in-Class Sub-Compact SUV/Crossover” in the New England Motor Press Association “Winter Vehicles Award” category. Journalists said “Any all-wheel-drive version of the CX-3 gives New Englanders an outstanding choice for economical winter driving.” If the 2016 Mazda CX-3 does so well driving in snow, just think of how awesome it will be when you’re headed to the beach on sunny summer days! The CX-3 really is an awesome and extremely versatile vehicle.
